On Thursday, October 15, our students participated in a full day field trip in Lethbridge. It was a great day and students got to try a variety of activities.
First, we headed to West Winds Gymnastics Club, where students learned some gymnastics basics. It was a lot of fun!
Next, we headed off to Interfaith Food Bank to drop off the food we raised from our Food Drive. Students got a tour of the building and then volunteered for about 45 minutes. It was a good learning experience!
Finally, we headed to the river bottom in Lethbridge, where we had a campfire and lunch. Students roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We finished off the day by playing a large group game called prey and predator, which helped students learn about food chains.
Our students loved the day and we hope to get them out and about more during the school year!
